Charli Mullen

Third Grade Teacher, Fredericksburg Elementary, Fredericksburg, TX

Charli Mullen’s experience with Mimio began the year she started teaching at Fort Sam Houston Elementary School in San Antonio, Texas. She was blessed to have a very forward-thinking technology director who encouraged new ideas, thinking, and the boundary pushing of what was considered “standard teaching practices.” Mimio just seemed “right” to her; everything flowed and she just couldn't get enough information about it.

Charli’s technology director hosted a Tech Tuesday every week, and she went without fail for her whole first year at that district, full of questions and ideas of how she could use Mimio better in the classroom. 

At the close of her second year of teaching, her technology director offered her the opportunity to become a Mimio Master, and she jumped at it. Charli’s use of Mimio in the classroom varies from day to day, based on the content to be covered and the general atmosphere of her classroom. She loves to create and post lessons for others to use on mimioconnect.com along with looking for great lesson ideas from others. Charli is also a trainer for the Mimio Quick Learn program.
